Counselling

Christian Counselling Services

In partnership with Mind Health we provide a Christian Counselling service to our community free of charge. We utilise Counselling Interns who are mature students in their final year of study who receive support and supervision by both their training institution and Mind Health.

The Counsellors work from a private office at the church or meet online, one day a week. More details about the current Counsellor are listed below, with a link to the application form.

3rd Year Bachelor of Counselling, Auckland University of Technology

Hi, I’m Chanice, a trainee counsellor who is passionate about supporting people through life’s ups and downs. As someone who’s been on my own mental health journey, I know how hard it can be to take that first step toward reaching out—but I also know how transformative it can be. I offer a safe, welcoming space where you can share your story and feel truly heard. My approach is gentle, compassionate, and tailored to you. Whether you’re working through anxiety, grief, or just feeling stuck, I’m here to walk alongside you and help you rediscover hope and strength.

My faith in Jesus is what keeps me strong and guides me in this work. I feel deeply called to walk with others through their struggles and help them find healing and restoration.
